Fern’s Semi Famous BBQ catered our event this last weekend. This was for the California Truck Driving Championships and the largest turnout Oak Harbor Freight Lines has ever had so the pressure to provide a great lunch for our employees was needed. Fernando and his staff exceeded that great lunch with many great comments from our employees. Fern’s Semi Famous BBQ was a hit!

Fern’s Semi-Famous BBQ is by far some of the best BBQ I have ever had. He catered a work function for my company and was prompt, nice, and overall a great guy. You can really see the passion for what he does when you speak to him. You will not be disappointed with any of his dishes and would highly recommend him for any event you are having. He will be returning to cook for us again!

Fern’s BBQ is by far the best mobile catering service I’ve ever worked with. Fernando is amazing, he has one of those attitudes that makes everyone around you smile especially when he talks about his business. It didn’t take much time at all to see this is a passion and he works with heart!
Fernando worked with me at a fundraiser I had planed it only three short weeks. He had a lot of knowledge and tips to help me stay organized and make sure the event was prepared timely. He also helped me complete a menu and made sure everything ran smooth the days leading up to the event as well as the entire event day. The day of the event Fernando arrived four hours before the event start time to set up his trailer and begin cooking.
His food exceeded our expectations, high quality meat and seasoned wonderfully! Fernando was very clean and organized, anything I needed from him was in arms reach and anyone who helped serve food was required to wear gloves. Every guest commented on the amazing trailer set up and the delicious food. Numerous people commented on how the trailer was awesome but the customer service provided by Fernando was even more so. I can’t thank you enough Fernando for providing your services to our Fundraiser, we can’t wait to have you at our next event. I have to say, Fern’s BBQ is good beyond words. I hosted a tailgate during the Holiday bowl, and he was set up and cooking as the guest arrived. Everyone was amazed when they saw his trailer and when he presented the tri-tip, you should have seen their eyes. He is passionate about his craft, and he is always willing to talk about his trailer and his food. I will call him again for my next event.

Fern’s semi famous BBQ – It doesn’t get any better than this. Fernando catered my son’s 5th birthday party. It was fantastic!! The mobile BBQ trailer is genius. He was able to set up his station and get everything going and I didn’t have to worry about making sure my guest were taken care of. The quality of service and the environment was truly awesome. My son’s birthday was in the middle of the day and of course the dads were all huffing and puffing because the games were on. Little did they know, Fernando had his trailer decked out with satellite T.V!!
Needless to stay, dads were ecstatic and didn’t miss a thing! I would highly recommend Fern’s semi famous BBQ for any event.

I highly recommend Fern’s Semi-Famous BBQ for all your BBQ catering needs. Burgers, chicken, ribs, and even tacos! The meat is always delicious! The uniqueness of his self contained bbq trailer is exceptional; equipped with solar, a flat screen TV (football games!), BBQ’s, and a sink. I’ve never seen anything like it! Everyone was very impressed with my husbands birthday party. He made sure he was prompt and well prepared. Whatever your catering needs are, book with Fern’s-you won’t be disappointed!
